Stillwhere / A quiet space respects privacy
Privacy
Stillwhere lets you study anonymously. We use limited first-party information to operate the service, understand what helps people focus, and protect it from abuse.
Anonymous visitor ID
We use a random first-party visitor ID, stored in your browser and a same-site cookie for up to 90 days. It helps us distinguish new and returning visits and connect anonymous use to an account if you later sign in. Clearing browser data may create a new ID. It is not a login credential.
Usage and attribution
We record important events such as visits, timer starts, ten minutes of focus, completed sessions and a limited focus duration. We may retain referral host and campaign parameters to understand how visitors found Stillwhere. We do not record mouse movements or use device fingerprinting.
IP and country
A server-derived IP address and country code may be used for security and aggregate product analysis. Raw IP addresses are retained for no more than 30 days in visitor analytics; country and aggregate statistics may remain for the analytics retention period. Existing security records have their own controls.
Access and retention
Visitor analytics are available only to authorized administrators and are not sold. Analytics events and inactive visitor records are normally removed after 180 days. Account and study data follow their separate product controls.
